Petar Nizamov
Petar Nizamov is a Bulgarian public figure, IT specialist, lawyer, historian and politician. Biography Petar Nizamov was born in 1985 in Burgas. He learns and knows English. He graduated in law in his city Burgas at BFU. Public activity In 2016, he became a recognizable name after publishing a video of migrants arrested and tied with pig tails migrants, who crossed the Bulgarian-Turkish border at the village of Evrinezovo, through a "green border" during the Migran wave from 2013to 2018. This case was widely covered by the international medias and was described in the U.S. State Department's 2016 report. Then Peter Nizamov was arrested and he was put into a home detention for 3 months. His arrest became a reason for protests in Bulgaria and mainly for this reason he was released on 21 July 2016 . In the subsequent trial, Petar Nizamov was charged for illegal imprisonment of migrants, but he was found not guilty in all the charges. After releasing from home detention Petar Nizamov redirects his activities towards detecting and proving smuggling in Bulgaria, in which, according to him, The Bulgarian General Directorate "Border Police" is also involved from its highest places. In 2018 he established the Association "BULGARIAN JUSTICIARY COMMITTEE - Protection of the Citizens by Legal Means" [21] [22] whose activity is charity and the provision of free Legal Aid and representation in the court for parents of taken away from social services for protecting the children in Bulgaria. The Organization became known because it managed to return many children taken from poor parents by the social services in Bulgaria for free. In 2018, lawyer from association was elected lawyer of the year on the occasion of the winning lawsuit of the three children taken from the widow Daniela Koleva from Sliven, for whom Petar Nizamov, personally supported both materially and morally. In June 2018, Petar Nizamov was ambushed in front of his home by murderers with masks and shot 8 times, according to him, because he revealed and exposed that the former Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria – Boyko Borisov was detained for eight months in the Czechoslovak prison "Pankrac" in 1991 together with a gang for racketeering and car theft. Petar Nizamov publicly accused Boyko Borisov of ordering the assassination attempt against him. Petar Nizamov's public activity is aimed at protecting the environment, stopping the urbanization of the Bulgarian Blacksea coast, charitable causes, legal aid for parents whose children was taken away from the social services, authorship of articles about corruption, writing political and public criticism, historical and legal scientific articles and analyses.[28] [29] Petar Nizamov is the owner and author of several news sites for investigative journalism in Bulgaria! [30] [31] Independent candidate[edit source] Local elections in 2019 In the elections in the municipality of Burgas is an independent candidate for municipal councilor. More than 700 people vote for it. Parliamentary elections in 2021 In the parliamentary elections he is an independent candidate for MP.
